In some of the cities along the Côte Basque we can find particular compounds where several specialties of the Basque ball game developed. The most spectacular one of these disciplines being the basket tip ball game: Jai Alai . The deep rooted cultural ties and pursuit of this sport in this particular area can be traced to its modern origins.
