When Gustav Eiffel finished his construction for the 1889 World’s Fair, a then controversial architectural structure emerged from within the heart of the city. It endured beyond its foreseen expiration date (20 years) remaining a standing symbol for creative audacity, progress and modernity. With the passage of time, it has become the most sought out touristic landmark in Paris as well as its most outstanding monumental reference.
